It can be a little tough trying out new recipes and maybe even quite demoralizing when you don’t get it right the first time. But practice makes perfect, so don’t give up! Here we have 5 cooking tips that can change your life !

1.Read the recipe all the way through before you start.
Read your recipe carefully and make sure you have the ingredients and the kitchen equipment you need from start to finish. It’ll prevent you from keeping a very hot oven on for too long. No more fumbling around the fridge or cabinets while your sauce boils over!

2. Pre-heat your Pans & Ovens.
Not pre-heating your pan can result in soggy food. You can tell if your pan is ready if a few drops of water thrown on the cooking surface “jump” and evaporate. Not only do all ovens heat differently, but you’ll also never really know how to handle a new protein or veggie at first. 

3. Season & taste as you go.
Never just season at the end. It’ll be too far gone.

4.  Don’t crowd the pan when searing.
Make sure you can see the bottom of the pan between the pieces of food. Too much food will lower the temperature of the pan, creating a lot of steam, meaning you won’t get good browning.

5. Invest on a kitchen thermometer.
Invest in a quality kitchen thermometer to make sure recipes are cooked to perfection.
